J-Squared General Contractors proudly completed a comprehensive renovation of Idyllwild Tavern, a 2,100 sq. ft. restaurant and cocktail lounge located in the heart of Idyllwild, California. This project showcased our expertise in restaurant construction, bar remodels, and custom high-end finishes tailored to the hospitality industry.

Scope of Work:

• Full Interior Rehabilitation: Complete gut and rebuild of the restaurant and lounge space with upgraded systems and finishes.
• Commercial Kitchen Upgrades: Installation of a brand-new cook line, refrigeration units, and a custom walk-in cooler on the second floor designed for food, keg, and beverage storage.
• Bar Renovation: Modernized bar with new frontline equipment, coolers, and custom millwork shelving for liquor and beverage storage.
• Vertical Transportation: A new elevator system was installed to streamline service between the 2nd-floor walk-in cooler and the 1st-floor kitchen.
• Custom Finishes & Millwork:
  • Designer wall and floor tile throughout dining and lounge areas.
  • Custom-built bar millwork with premium hard surfaces.
  • Elegant restroom millwork and stone surfaces.
• Lighting, Audio & Visual Systems: Custom interior and exterior lighting package, integrated audio/visual systems, and a full-motion camera security system for safety and entertainment.
